WHERE DO WE stand the best chance of tackling the menace of drugs that destroy Beauty, Talent, Character and Families in all four corners of the earth? London, New York, Madrid or Afghanistan?
Some say London; others say in New York as well as in Madrid.
Those who say Afghanistan, seem to have forgotten that Supply goes not where Demand does not exist.
Supply AND Demand are great lovers. Supply is in constant pursuit of Demand. Demand always knows how to get Supply to find her.
So, if you are wise, and if you are knowing ruin in your family or country because of a romance between Supply and Demand, you will aim at killing two birds with one stone by going after Demand first. Know how to choke Demand to death or know, at least, how to make her so unatractive to Supply and you will kill them both dead for Supply to be in hot pursuit of Demand no more.
Do differently - if you are knowing ruin in your self, family or country because of a Supply and Demand romance - and you've embarked on a journey of Self-misdirection.
SELF-MISDISRECTION has destroyed great minds. Self-misdirection has destroyed great nations. Self-misdirection wastes more of the World's best resources than any other single factor. Self-misdirection caused abject povert to abound in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. Self-misdirection is causing most problems of our time to get worse and worse.
Self-misdirection caused NATO to fail in Afghanistan. Self-misdirection caused the West to fail in Africa and Latin America: The presence of NATO forces in Afghanistan has not stopped drug trafficking to London, New York, Madrid and the rest. The stationing of Soca and Operation Westbridge in Lagos and Accra has not stopped trafficking of drugs to markets in Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Munich, Paris, Tokyo and many other cities in the West.
And, as we have all seen before our eyes, drugs discriminates not on the grounds of race, religion or rank.
A Muslim, who takes cocaine, will be destroyed in mind, talent and beauty to have no peace at all, no matter how long and hard he chants passages from the Holy koran daily. A Jew or Christian, who takes cocaine, will suffer the same fate, no matter how long and hard he recites passages from the Holy Bible daily. Same will apply to the Hindu , Budhist and the rest in both East and West. For none is different to all mortals that are born to live and die.
All men are mortals and so are all women. And because all mortals are one and the same from One Source, self-misdiirections tend to destroy them all in equal measure. The same self-misdirection that defeated all shades of governments in the West is defeating governments in India, Pakistan, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and the rest of Africa, as well as in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran and all nations in the Middle East.
The UN is no exception. Bearing in mind the vast resources at its disposal, the UN ought to have done better and could have done better. But the UN failed and failed the world because of one problem and one problem alone - namely, the problem of Self-misdirection.
There are reasons why humans enagage in self-misdirection to self-distruct and fail. But men and organisations need to know the causes of self-misdirection before they can strive to self-misdirect less and less to avoid failing more and more to self-distruct time and time again.
